Jennifer's Story
Jennifer joined the Enterprise RESTART class at HOST HOUSE and helps out during the day. She had been living in what has been termed "The Cages" of Patterson, a place where women have taken old, unused almond hauling cages and created a space to protect them from the elements. She struggled with addiction and was recovering from cancer surgery.
Once she made the decision to RESTART her life she left the cages and began sleeping in her car in various parking lots and on side streets. She would wake up early and find places that she could go to in the evening to park her car.
At our first monthly Women-Helping-Women breakfast, Shirley, a community church member, opened her home to Jennifer and is now part of her journey to changing her life. Jennifer is committed to her new life!
Naomi's House will be the perfect place for homeless women like Jennifer who want to change their circumstances but don't know how to and have no place to go until they can get back on their feet.
Will you partner with us to make NAOMI's HOUSE a reality for homeless women?
